Wednesday, May 15, 2013 Pearl River NY & Montvale NJ Emergency Service were simultaneously dispatched to an MVA rollover with entrapment on Route 304 (Kinderkamak Road) in the vicinity of the NY, NJ Border. One party was transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries. Route 304 , Kinderkamak Road was closed for about 45 minutes during the incident. On scene units included Pearl River & Montvale F.D.s Pearl River and Triboro Ambulances, Medic 21, HMC paramedics, Montvale & Orangetown P.D.s. The incident occurred just south of the borderline on Kinderkamack Road.
Thursday, May 9, 2013 Pearl River Emergency Services responded to MVA that occurred at the intersection of 304 & Hillside Avenue. Two parties were treated, stabilized, and immobilized prior to transport to a local area hospital. EMS & FD responders extracted one party from a vehicle that left the roadway and landed in the woods. On scene units included Pearl River Ambulance & Fire Dept. Medic 21 and Orangetown PD. Route 304 was restricted to one southbound lane during the incident
Friday, May 3, 2013 The Pearl River Ambulance dispatched 2 ambulances to the scene or a structure fire on Orangeburg Road. The fire was quickly extinguished by Pearl River FD.Two parties were transported to Westchester Medical Center as a result of the blaze. On scene units included Pearl River EMS, Medic 21, Orangetown PD, Pearl River, Nanuet, Orangeburg, Sparkill & Blauvelt FD Units. Orangeburg road was closed to traffic for about one hour during the incident.
Saturday, March 30, 2013 A cyclist was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of S Middletown & Henry Street. The cyclist was fully immobilized and stabilized prior to transport to a local hospital. On scene units included Pearl River Ambulance, Medic 21, and Orangtown P.D. S Middletown Road was closed to traffic during the incident. Police are investigating
Tuesday, March 26, 2013 Pearl River Ambulance was dispatched to a MVA involving four cars just north of the Washington Avenue 304 Intersection. The 4 vehicles traveling southbound on Route 304 had a chain reaction crash just before the Traffic Signal. One party was transported to a local area hospital as a result of the incident. On scene units also included Medic 21, Orangetown P.D. an several tow trucks. Route 304 was restricted to one lane during the incident. Police are investigating.
Monday, March 25, 2013 Pearl RIver Emergency Servces were dispatched to the corner of Blauvelt and North Middletown Road for a structure fire early this morning. No injuries wrer reported.Onscene units included Pearl River Ambulance, Pearl River FD and Orangetown P.D.
Sunday, March 24, 2013 Pearl River Emergency services were dipatched to an MVA rollover on Pearce Parkway early this morning. A car traveling eastbound swerved to aviosd an object in the roadway and flipped into its side. The occupant was entrapped in the vehicle until rescuers arrived. Onscene untis included Pearl Rive Ambulance, Pearl River F.D. and Orangetown P.D.
Tuesday, March 19, 2013 Two parties were transported to a local area hospital by Pearl River Ambulance as the result of a MVA. The crash occurred at the intersection of N. Middletown Road & Brightwood Avenue. Traffic was restricted to one lane as a result of the incident. Sunday, March 17, 2013 EMS units, from Rockland and Bergen Counties were required to provide medical coverage for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade held in Pearl River. The crowd size was estimated at 80,000 and lined the parade route from Pfizer parking lot to the train station. Pearl River Ambulance activated a NIMS compliant MCI Plan that pre positioned EMS Units at various stations along the parade route. 12 ems calls were reported to the command center and 7 persons were transported to local hospitals during the parade. EMS Units responding included 3 Pearl River Ambulances and 2 Pearl River ERV units,2 SOAC Ambulances, Ramapo Valley Ambulance, 2 Spring Hill Ambulances, and Ambulances from Nyack, Sloatsburg, Northvale,Faist, Congers, , Triboro, Old Tappan, Rivervale, 2 Medic 21 Units The members of Pearl River Ambulance would like to take this opportunity to express their gratitude to all the EMS personnel attending the event. And to the EMS organizations that sent representatives to the parade while also providing ambulance coverage for their individual communities
Friday, March 8, 2013 Pearl River Emergency Services responded to a structure fire at the intersection of South Middletown Road and Henry Street. The electrical fire was quickly contained by Pearl River FD. One party was transported to a local hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. On scene units included Pearl River Ambulance, Medic 21, Orangetown P.D. Pearl River, Orangeburg & Nanuet Fire Depts.
